12,722 JOBS FOUND Martin P. Durkin, state director of labor, I announced Tuesday that the Illinois State Employment Service made 12,722 placements I during the month of May. These figures I represent an increase of 13.6 per cent over April and 81.5 per cent over those made in May, 1935. Private industry placements dur- ing the month were 6,094, which is 80.6 per I cent above the figures for the same month in 1935.
