t DETROIT TURF NOTES s Bomar Stables Billy Bee was shipped to Hawthorne Wednesday to fill his engagement in the stakes to be offered at that track Saturday. Jockey J. Bryson leaves here Friday night to ride him. Mrs. A. M. Creechs Sound Advice is in an ailing condition and will be out of training for two months or more. Jack Webb had J. S. Rileys Hi-Nelli fired for osselets trouble. Apprentice J. Gordon, under contract to A. G. Tarn, is visiting his parents here before proceeding to western Canada, where he reports to Nelson Ings, who has a division of the Tarn stable. Walter Taylor wired that he was bringing J. T. Taylors Planetoid here to fill her engagement in the ,000 added Moslem Temple Stakes. Jockey L. Lake departed for Dallas, and from there goes to Riverside Park. Henderson Van Zandt, attached to the racing secretarys office, is taking nominations for the 5,000 added Chicago Derby, to be run at Hawthorne. Nominations for the race close June 13. William J. Kelley, custodian of the jockeys quarters, has arranged a beautiful window display in downtown Detroit. Among the things displayed are; a bridle, saddle boots and colors. Jockey Eddie Burns left for Long Branch, and apprentice E. Delmado, none the worse for his fall from Airy Heiress Tuesday, departed for Suffolk Downs. Jockey F. Law checked in from Riverside Park and reported to J. E. Mason, owner of the Spring Valley Stable. P. S. Williams checked in from Chicago with Sales Tax and Too Big. Jockey O. Webster accompanied the stable here.
