Won ridden out; second and third the same. , CLEDIS showed good speed from the start and, heading RUMDUM in the stretch, won under urging. RUMDUM sprinted into a goodlead soon after the start, but tired in the stretch. BAY HAVEN was forced I to race wide most of the way and showed a good effort. SONNY SAN tired. LADY BANNER made a strong ! move approaching the stretch, but was caught in close quarters while tiring in the stretch. SNAP UP I pulled up slightly lame. MERETA, close to the pace from the start, came strongly after entering the stretch and, heading ALMA MAE, had enough left to withstand the challenge of BLIND SAGE. The latter, much the best but weakly handled, was permitted to drop back to last place soon after the start, raced around the extreme outside while making his move and was allowed to race almost to the outside fence in the stretch, but finished fast and might have won but for stumbling in the last eighth. ANGELITA showed a good effort despite swerving a triflein the stretch. LITTLE MISTAKE made up much ground. ALMA MAE and STAR CLOUD tired. Scratched 27252Oarmount, 112. Overweight Star Cloud, 1 pound. DEVILISH NICK was never far from the pace and raced well to the end. SUN TRYST closed ground steadily and was going well at the finish. REGISTERITE was taken up when in close quarters early. SECRET TRYST showed good early speed and tired near the finish. TWIN PEAKS might have been dangerous had he been prominently placed in the early part. SUN T. tired in the stretch. DARK TYRANT broke tovard the outside at the start, but was quickly righted and, hard and well ridden through the stretch, picked up OUR CAROLYNE -to win going away. The latter raced to the front-early to make, the pace, saved ground where possible and had no excuses. MOHAC showed a fair turn of speed. SAN LUIS REY tired. SERVICE MAN broke in motion to get to the front, but was not good enough. BRIDES DELIGHT was unable to keep up and seemed, outclassed. . BANKER CONARD tired in the stretch. SHABONEE seemed outclassed. SARACEN MAID seems to prefer a soft track. ALSISTO found the distance too far. Won driving; second and third the same. ESKIMO raced to the front soon after the start and set the pace to hold on gamely, but was lucky to win. BOURBON PRINCE, performing as if best, came fast on the outside of ESKIMO in the stretch and with a hustling ride would have won easily. TOO BUSY was well up from the start and raced fairly well. CRESTA RUN lacked early speed, but closed some ground. BELLE MYSTERY could not keep up. Scratched 27256 Carsono, 105. Overweight Silver Crown, 2 pounds.
