DOROTHY HICKS took command under hustling tactics, drew clear after disposing of WIGROSE, but tired fast in the last strides. TREASURY KEY moved up fast from a tardy beginning, saved ground throughout and held on well. WIGROSE. used up in the pace, tired under pressure: MADDENING showed a cood effort. PROVEN quit. CELTIC PRINCE, under hustling tactics from the start, took command nearing the final quarter, was shuffled back at the stretch turn and tired thereafter. RAIN OR SHINE, rushed to the front early, was in close quarters until reaching the stretch and tired there-after. TWIDGETS had a rough trip. ALL NIGHT, forced to lose ground early, tired after offering a bold bid entering the stretch. SAN LU tired. CLAREMONT showed a dull effort. The latter sprinted into a good lead early, increased her advantage under light urging, bore out entering the stretch, came fast when straightened and was fast gaining on the winner at the end. TRAHISON, outrun for three-quarters, was sent through the field for the drive and closed with a rush. BICHLORIDE, unable to improve its early position, finished well. ROLLING WHEELS quit.
