POLISHER BEATS AGREEABLE Finishes One Length in Front in Main Event at Northampton Park McCray Fined. AKRON, Ohio, June 15. Securing an opening next to the inner rail entering the stretch, S. D. Hudsons Polisher shook off Agreeable, the pacemaker, and Blind Star during the final stages of the Gates Mills Purse, best offering at Northampton Park this afternoon. - At the end he scored by a length. Under favorable conditions, the sport was watched by a good crowd. Many of the winners came from unexpected quarters. Bar-rido raced away from the others in the early stages of the first race, winning with ease. May Rock scored in similar fashion in the third, but Dark Amber came from behind in the last quarter of the second to win handily. Ragacreek also came from behind in the fourth to take premier honors from Quick Delivery in a drive. Jockey K. McCray was fined 5 for failure to keep his mount straight during the stretch run in the last race Saturday.
