I DETROIT TURF NOTES $ 4 The handicap performer Sun Monk, property of E. Anthony, was shipped to Suffolk Downs, Sunday. Trainer W. R. Seamster had the firing irons applied to F. A. Griffiths Cutie Face. After several disappointing races trainer J. G. Angner decided to turn out Kennedy and Le Guevels Chunk. The four-year-old son of Color Sergeant was shipped to Dayton, Ohio, and will be picked up for fall racing in Texas. The two-year-old Front Fender, belonging to the local Motor City Stable, was fired Sunday and sent to the H. C. Wolfe farm near Ypsilanti, Mich. Jockey Robert Mozer stopped off for the day en route to New York, where he expects to remain for the balance of the summer. He came from Chicago. The apprentice allowance was waived on Mrs. A. M. Creechs Crout au Pot in the sixth race Monday. Apprentice Charles Parke, who was suspended Saturday, was engaged to ride the mare. Charles Parvin, who does the heavy riding for the stable, was substituted. Rushaway, which finished out of the money Saturday in the Detroit Derby, was shipped to Hawthorne, Monday night, where owner A. G. Tarn will prep the three-year-old for the Chicago Derby, to be contested next Saturday at the Stickney course. Tarn and jockey John Longden also left for the Chicago west side course Monday night.
