Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilts Discovery was assigned top weight of 136 pounds for the Brooklyn1 Handicap by handicapper John B. Campbell just after he had won the Inchcape Handicap at Aqueduct, Wednesday, with 135 pounds oh his back. The Brooklyn, a mile and one furlong affair, will be renewed a week from Saturday and Discovery is expected to try for his third straight victory in the. race. Elwood Sachsenmeiers Roman Soldier; was assigned 126 pounds with M. L. Schwartz Bold Venture and ZZelair Studs Granville 110 pounds each. Discoverys impost is nine pounds over scale, Roman Soldiers is scale weight and the two three-year-olds are four pounds under as is King Saxon with 122 pounds.
