, , HERTZ STABLE ARRIVES j AT ARLINGTON PARK j Eleven horses, the vanguard of the returning eastern division of the Mrs. John D. Hertz stable, arrived at Arlington Park Thursday in charge of Len Johnston and the stable foreman, Pat Dwyer. The horses were shipped in a special car from Belmont Park and unloaded at the Arlington siding. Count Gallahad, strapping two-year-old son of the popular imported sire Sir Gallahad III. and Anita Peabody, queen of the Chicago sportswomans Leona Stud, was the cynosure of all eyes as he stepped briskly off the car onto the loading platform. This highly regarded colt is entered in the richly-endowed Arlington Futurity and the Hyde Park Stakes, to be run during the thirty-day meeting opening June 29. The older division was headed by the four-year-old Count Arthur, a candidate for the Stars and Stripes Handicap and the Arlington Handicap. Following is the full Hertz shipment: Count Arthur, Our Reigh and Conte, four-year-olds; My Count and Count Stone, three-year-olds, and Count Gallahad, Count Atlas, Count Edward, Duchess Reigh, Reigh Helen and Her Reigh, two-year-olds. Three more horses of the Hertz stable will arrive from Belmont Park Friday. They are Reigh Cleo, Kitty Reigh and Leona Reigh, all two-year-olds, j All of the horses arrived in excellent con- dition after their long trip.
