MOMENTARY AGAWAM WINNER Daughter of Petee-Wrack Surprises by Outstaying Dona Dulcin, in Chief Offering". AGAWAM, Mass., June 26. Momentary, bay three-year-old daughter of Petee-Wrack, ridden by jockey J. Tinker and sporting the red and white crossed silks of S. Pana-rella, surprised the fans to score a half-length victory over Dona Dulcin, of the J. Heelan stable, another outsider in the wagering here today in the seventh, the feature of an ordinary card. A. L. Astes Light Brook was third, with Still Alarm fourth. The winner raced the distance in 1:47, taking the lead in the short run to the first turn. Momentary stole away to a three-length margin when Leyland took Dona Dulcin back in an attempt to reserve her for the final drive. Nocturnlabe was third at this stage, with Light Brook racing along the inner rail, next in order, while Still Alarm trailed many lengths in the rear. Shortly before reaching the half-mile post, Light Brook attempted to pass Nocturnlabe, but jockey Chinn, astride the latter, promptly shut him off, and Rosengarten was forced to take up, losing many lengths as the Aste gelding was knocked off stride. Sun Way at this time had moved up on the outside to form a natural pocket on Light Brook.
