TAP TIME, easily best, was on the inside throughout, saved much ground, drew away from the field on the lower turn and won with speed to spare. SCHOLAR GIRL, prominent all the way, held on well and outlasted IRON SANDS. The latter broke well, showed good early speed, bore out slightly on the lower turn and tired nearing the end. SWING CORNERS broke slowly and, far back early, closed with a rush on the outside and was going gamely at the end. NOTAR showed early speed, but raced wide on the lower turn. YAUPON, hustled into the lead shortly after the break, shook off DIXIE BIDDER entering the stretch, but tired in the last sixteenth. t DIXIE BINDER forced the early pace, lost much ground on theIower turn, and tired- in the last sixteenth. BII.UK DUNLAP raced evenly all the way. RISHI broke his leg at the ankle-just as the horses passed the finishing line and had to be destroyed. The latter broke well, dropped back quickly, saved ground all the way and. was going gamely at the finish. AIRGLIDE, hustled into a long lead in the first half mile, tired badly in the last sixteenth. FAN AWAY broke fast, raced close lip for a half mile, then tired. IMA DREAMER, unable to keep up in the early stages, got through on the inside in the stretch and was going gamely at the end. ELANBEE forced the early pace, bore out slightly entering the stretch and held on well in the drive. CHEKA started slowly, worked his way up gradually and finished gamely. OH DAVE broke well, was well placed in the early running, saved ground entering the stretch, but did Jiot threaten the first two. JESSIE COPPAGE finished well". Start bad and slow; Won driving; second and third , the same. . BYLARIA was taken to the paddock when his jockey was struck on the head by HURRY HAWK. She broke well, moved up gradually on the inside, drew away into a good lead in the stretch, but tired badly at the end and just lasted. LEVI COOKE alternated in . the pacemaking with CHEHALIS,- came on again in the stretch and just failed to get up. CHEHALIS, well up all. the way, took a-short lead in the back stretch, but tired in the last eighth. HURRY HAWK, fractious at the eate. reared in his stall and, lashing out with Ills front feet, struck BYLARIAS jockey on the head. HURRY HAWK broke well and was going camely at the end. BEADLEMINT TOCAYA and VOLSLEET had but little chance from the bad start. The field was at the post with their weight up for fifteen minutes while the boy was changed on BYLARIA and it was not a truly run race. Scratched 28324 Goron, 107; 28157 Privately, 112.
