I DUFFERIN PARK NOTES Condition books for the ten-day meeting, to be held at Devonshire Park commencing July 8, will be distributed among horsemen at Dufferin Park Saturday by racing secretary Anthony Simms. W. Sharrard, trainer of the horses of T. S. Cochenour and his son, Tod, were bereaved in the loss of wife and mother. A sale in the Dufferin paddock on Friday resulted as follows: Thermal, 00, F. Hammer; Achras, 50, G. Potter;; Carack, 25, C. M. Withers. Thermal was. turned over to L. Ronald to train and performed in the interests of her new owner in Fridays first race. Carack will be unsexed. For misuse of their badges, L. Crescent, R. Stuart, W. Adams and J. Smith were fined 0 by the stewards at Dufferin Park. Two persons previously met with the same fine. Three carloads of horses were transferred to Hamilton from Dufferin Park Friday morning by Mike Heffering, agent for the Canadian National Railway. Several more cars will be sent to the same point filled with racers after the closing of the Dufferin Park meeting.
