Start poor and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. TELLWICK improved her position steadily, responded to urging in the final eighth, wore down the leaders and drew away at the finish. SCHOOLMOM followed the early pace under restraint, moved up on the inside in the stretch, but hung at the end. CHERRY ORCHARD came to the outside of the leaders in the stretch run and made up ground steadily. MISS COHERE faltered under urging at the finish. LOVE POTION closed well. SAN ANTIOCA moved into command shortly after the break, was rated along under steady restraint and drew away in the final drive. VITOX improved his position from a slow beginning, responded gamely to urging and finished fast on the outside. MYSTIC FLYER began slowly and finished fast through the stretch.-THE SWAGMAN came through on the inside at the end. BRAVADO was away well and raced forwardly all the way. BUD BROWN showed a good effort. CAPITOL HILL was shuffled back after the break and bled in the running. VIGILANCE was outrun. MATCH POINT improved his position steadily on the outside and closed gamely under urging. BARON GRAY raced evenly and finished well. MAGIC CIRCLE was racing stoutly between the leaders when bothered. WATERSET broke fast, dropped back after the start, but came again on the inside at the end. ARMSTRONG raced forwardly in the early stages and dropped back after going a half mile. GALABANG was bothered when the winner bore out at the first turn, assumed a brief lead, but faltered at the end. JOLLY SAINT saved much ground rounding the first turn.
