PLAN GALA WEEK AT OMAHA Eight Races Daily During Final Week of Ak-Sar-Ben Session High Temperature Prevails. OMAHA, Neb., June 26. Commencing Monday and for every day thereafter until the conclusion of the meeting, the race programs staged by the management of Ak-Sar-Ben will consist of eight events. An attempt will be made to make the final week of racing at the Omaha track a gala one and to this end the racing secretary is seeking to stage outstanding races. Residents of thirty-two communities of northeastern Nebraska will be the guests of Ak-Sar-Ben next Monday. The delegation will be led by State Senator A. L. Neumann of Oakland, Neb. Favorite players got off to a good start when Norma Clark, a five-year-old mare, won Fridays opening event. The winner, ridden by W. Jackson, went to the front at once and led a band of Nebraska-breds all j the way. Clarice McClain, an outsider, was second, and Bonada came from last place to be third.
