I HAWTHORNE TURF NOTES f The track veterinarian having reported the horse lame, the stewards excused An-apbla from starting in the third raca Friday. Frank Garrett transfers the J. E. Hughes and Howard Bruce horses to Arlington Park Saturday., According to advices received by D.. E. Stewart, western trainer for the J. E. Widener stable, jockey Wayne Wright will reach here in time to ride at Arlington Park Tuesday. Goldie Mitchell, agent for Mrs. A. M. Creechs stable, arrived from Detroit and was a, visitor at Hawthorne Friday. He is handling apprentice C. Parkes engagement book. T. P. Martin, a recent arrival from Kansas City, accepted his first mounts here Friday.
