1 RIVER DOWNS TURF NOTES I s e Joe Shakespeare sold the three-year-old Hill Jimmy to J. Ruff. Milton Griner vanned Double B. and another horse from Lexington. Post time for the first race Saturday will be 2 oclock. The additional fifteen minutes will insure the final race being run before dark. Tommy Murray, who has been in 111 health for some time, paid his first visit to the track Tuesday. Murray, a former rider, was very successful with the horses he trained for the late W. F. Knebelkamp and plans opening a public stable. O. F. Woodward returned to New York after inspecting the horses he has here in charge of Harry Trotzek. Kirby Ramsey loaded Mucho Gusto and the others of his stable Tuesday morning and they departed for Churchill Downs. A division of the S. G. Baker stable also got away for the same point. Busy Master was added to starter Wing-fields schooling list, and Eil-Weir and Whangdoodle were placed on the stewards list. At the close of the Kentucky season Nitten Nancy, a consistent performer under L. K. Rodgers colors, will be retired from racing. The daughter of Axenstein is in foal to Kai-Sang. George Ledermeiers Play Lady was returned here from Keeneiand.
