LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES J Nick Eurger is at Churchill Downs with two head, Bon Centime and Myron, the property of Mrs. N. Burger. W. D. Covington will be represented at the fall meeting by Prince Fellow, Happy Rhinock, Rhiniz and Rhida. The Cincinnati turfman plans to winter his small but useful string at Churchill- Downs, as has been his custom for years. Blue Blazer, Chipeta and Maple Ricca will carry the colors of Mrs. T. Ott Mrs. Ott has sent Ccliba to the farm of Henry M. Knight, Nicholasville, Ky., where she will be retired as a matron. Glen Tar goes to the farm of R. Mcllwain. E. L. Sitgrave came in from Sportsmans Park with the frequent winner, Regards, and Hour Zev. The division of Valdina, which campaigned at Keeneland, was returned to Churchill Downs. The unit was comprised of Eagle Pass, Brown Prodigy, Solar Hawk, Cross S., Tedall, Calculator, Valdina, Hondo, Watchfully, Sir Emerson, Laddie Bessie and Sun Petal. Twelve other representatives of the stable had been here since the close of Lincoln Fields, in charge of Walter Burke. The string which William Crump has here for Mrs. Crump is composed of Merina, Amateur Girl and Van Nuys. Stalls have been reserved for twelve head belonging to the Blue Ridge Stable, which A. O. Baglcy is shipping here from Sportsmans Park at the close of the meeting there. Leo J. Wagner, a familiar figure around Churchill Downs, stole a march on his friends when he married Miss Marguerite Habich. The couple spent their honeymoon in Chicago. Besides a likely band of yearlings, A. E. Van Ree has three two-year-olds, Shadow Time, Critical Lady and Khar Fair, here for the Tranquillity Farm of H. H. Cross, Chicago. The two-year-olds are ready for racing, having been in training since September. F. P. Letellier, New Orleans turfman, returned from Keeneland with Hit and Run, Marie Jean, Miss Lizzie, Golden Nut and Billbo, which he campaigned at that point Twelve other Letellier horses remained hero In charge of O. Dobbins and will be available for Churchill Downs racing. Homer Pardue got in from River Downs with the two-year-olds Guinea Doric and Mannas Boy. He will be joined later in the week by his brother, Clyde Pardue, with Par-Queen, Busy Girl, Byrdel and Guinea Law, which are still at the Cincinnati track. Phil Reilly is here with a useful string of eight, the property of Otto Lehmann, president of Arlington Park; F. M. Grabner and himself. This unit includes Petty Taw, Spanish Babe, Warfellow, Come to Taw and Queen Regent, which raced at Keeneland, and High Point, Distractable and Goodly. Reilly has apprentice E. Hanna under con tract and expects to give the youngster plenty of opportunity during the coming fall meeting. Lee ODonnclls string includes Wise Dora. Cliftons Marie and Sandvato. He has fired the two-year-old Navarre and Kermay and they will be turned out on the Navin farm near Anchorage for the winter. Theo. E. Muller. former member of the Kentucky State Racing Commission, supervised the transfer of his Shady Brook Farm string from Keeneland and three yearling purchased at the Lexington sales. The older horses, in charge of George Brooks, are Visigoth, Chauvenet, Skalkahoe, Incognito and Overtrick.
