1 OMAHA TURF NOTES 5 . ! Stalls are being bedded down for the large stable that will carry the colors of Sen. M E. Casey, who conducts a large breeding farm near Lees Summit. Trainer J. W. Manning expects to have twenty-five head ready for the opening date, which is May 29 Officials of The Jockey Club have announced that already stabling space has been allotted to approximately 400 horses, and applications still continue to pour into the office here. Repair work has continued on the barns, and will be completed by the end of the week, and all will be ready for occupancy when the heavy influx of horses commences within the next few days.
