DEVELOP RIDERS AT OAKLAWN Hutton, Ryan and Johnson Among Youngsters Who Showed Promise in Their Saddle Work. HOT SPRINGS, Ark., April 6. Oaklawn Park proved to be the developing grounds for a galaxy of budding apprentice stars during its recent meeting, the most notable of whom are Bobby Hutton and Paul Ryan Hutton, a Cincinnati boy under contract to Dr. C. N. Finch, who piloted his first winner at the Spa track astride Pat C, gives promise of developing into a star reinsman and his saddle performances during the meeting have brought forth considerable favorable comment. However, Paul Ryan, a native of Chicago who experienced the thrill of riding down to the finish in front for the first time during the Fair Grounds meeting in New Orleans cut a wide swath in the jockey ranks, ridlnrr three winners in a single day on two differ ent occasions. Ryan will see considerable action on the Chicago tracks during the coming summer and bids fair to make an enviable reputation for himself.
