BEULAH PARK TURF NOTES Work on the new mile track at the Grove City course is progressing rapidly. Horsemen will be able to use the entire track for training next week. At the present time, they are limited to the back stretch. With the meeting six weeks away, several carloads of horses already are on the grounds. From New Orleans came the stables of R. E. Spicer, M. P. Lyons, W. J. Hughes, N. Shop, R. Dolloway, E. R. Fritz, K. Horvath, J. Money, E. F. Rathgaber and J. P. K. Willis. Among the horses which Rol Spicer brought is Persuader, good distance runner, which won ten races last year. Jack Yerian will bring twelve horses, including a draught of the Haughton and West stable from Arlington Downs at the close of the Texas season.
