OPENING FEATURE WEIGHTS Whopper Assigned 126 Pounds for Paumonok Handicap, to Be Run at Jamaica, April 15. NEW YORK, N. Y., April 6 John B. Campbell released his weights for the thirty-two eligibles for the Paumonok Handicap, the six furlongs sprint that inaugurates the Metropolitan season. Whopper, H. P. Head-leys giant campaigner is top weight with 125 pounds or six below the scale while the Futurity winner, J. H. Louchheims Pompoon, i3 asked to carry scale weight, 116 pounds. The three-year-old, according to the scale is asked to concede weight to the other eligibles. Clodion, which Walter Carter has at Columbia, S. C, is the next three-year-old in line and he is allotted 110 or six pounds below the scale. Black Look, from the C. V. Whitney stable and the Greentree Stables Chicolorado are weighted alike with 105. The Paumonok this season carries an added value of ,500 and was inaugurated in 1906 with Inquisitor the winner.
