FAST TEXAS DERBY WORKS Case Ace and Heaping Reward Gallop Three-Quarters at Arlington Downs in 1:13. ARLINGTON, Texas, April 6. Starting their task at the three-quarters post and under strong restraint throughout, they ran the quarter in :23, and the half mile in :475i. Mars Shield and Military, two other eligibles from the same barn, went the same distance in 1:15, handily. Military was equipped with blinkers, and they were timed the quarter in :23, the half mile in :48. Nations Taste and Dogaway went five furlongs in 1:02, handily, after running the quarter in :24, and the half mile in :48. W. E.
