ATTA BUNNY, off well, followed REDCAR closely after being headed by the latter and, finishing gamely, won narrowly. REDCAR took a good load rounding the stretch turn, but tired in the final run. ROSUN never threatened the first two, but raced well to the finish to hold RED CAB safe. The latter was going nitely at the end. HIS WEST dwelt at the start and was off slowly, losing all chance. QUICK FLIGHT, close to the pace from the start, moved up steadily in the middle of the track after entering the stretch to catch LO and had enough left at the end to hold ROCHESTER BOY safe. The latter . was always a strong contender and, saving ground in the stretch, raced gamely to the finish. LO had the most early speed, but tired near the end. DIRECT was outrun early, but was. going well at the finish. LUCK CHARM broke well, but was unable to keep up. MOHAC was in close quarters on the inside of LO on the stretch turn and tired in the run home. SORREL TOP refused to break. Scratched 56254 Lee Hastings, 117. ARUNDA went to the front after racing a quarter and, displaying good speed, was never in serious danger, drawing out in the stretch. NEDS LADY raced well up in the early part and held second place safe in the stretch. SUSI Q. lacked early speed, but came gamely to find an opening between horses on the stretch turn and was going well at the finish. FOUNTAIN GROVE stumbled at the start but quickly recovered and raced to a contending position, only to tire in the stretch. SISTINA raced evenly. MARIA JULIET was off slowly, but closed some ground. TANNHAUSER was close to the pace all the way and, though racing wide on the stretch turn, finished gamely. BLUE SHEETS moved up strongly on the outside on the far turn, but was forced wide by TANNHAUSER on the stretch turn and could not hold the latter safe.
