SMITH VISITS CHURCHILL LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 13. William E. Smith, owner and breeder and member of the state racing commission, warmed up for the Keeneland opening by spending all of Tuesday morning at ChurchHl Downs. Commissioner Smith, who is a very close student of racing, is another who firmly believes the coming Kentucky Derby will develop one of the greatest races in the modern record of the stake.
