DISSEMBLER, kept well up from the start, moved up on the outside when settled in the stretch, disposed of YARN SOX in the final eighth and was drawing away at the end. YARN SOX set a fast early pace from the start, responded when urged entering the stretch after racing EVER GRAND into defeat, but faltered at the finish. AMERICAN SAND made up ground on the outside at the end. SECRET CHATTER raced through on the inside entering the stretch and finished well. WALMISS swerved under urging in the stretch run. MEXICO CITY moved up with a rush on the outside rounding the stretch turn, but then hung. ALL AFIRE began slowly, but finished well. JACKS QUEEN lacked early speed. EVER GRAND had no mishaps. GUINEA DORIC, slow to begin, worked his way up on the outside rounding the stretch turn and finished fast. JUDGE HASTEN was well up all the wav and had no mishaps. CHATTERDOO showed early speed, but quit. ITALIAN HARRY had no excuse. LADYS FAVOR quit badly. BLACK SCOUT could not improve his position. TOOTHPICK had a flash of early speed. GONE WEST was outrun. GRAND SLAM improved his position steadily on the outside, responded to severe pressure in the stretch run and wore down the leaders in the final drive. SUNNED was in close quarters after rounding the stretch turn, responded to severe pressure and outlasted HIGH HEDGE. The latter showed good early speed and raced ROGUISH GIRL and BACHELOR DINNER into defeat, then held on well to the finish. MASTER LAD worked his way up on the inside from a slow beginning and made a determined bid nearing the eighth post, but hung at the end. KENTY closed well from a slow beginning. HIGH VELOCITY began slowly and, outrun in the early stages, worked his way up slowly to close with a belated rush. CORINTO made his bid rounding the far turn, but faltered in the final eighth. SINGERS FOLLY, a trailer to the far turn, closed ground steadily. BUSY K. showed a good effort. PICCOLO was caught in close quarters nearing the stretch turn.
