ADAMS SUFFERS FALL SAN MATEO, Calif., April 13. On the advice of the track physician, jockey Johnny Adams cancelled his mounts for the balance of the afternoon after having been thrown from Miss Chase in the second race Tuesday. Adams suffered a bump on the head and was slightly dazed, but resumed riding Wednesday. Adams wife was taken to the hospital for an emergency appendicitis operation Tuesday morning.
