DAYLIGHT TIME IN 17 STATES A survey made recently by the Merchants Association of New York City reveals that daylight saving time will be wholly or partially observed in seventeen states this year. It will go into effect at 2 a. m. Sunday, April 24, and continue until Sunday, September 25. Chicago will observe the aforementioned schedule.
