1 KEENELAND TURF N0TESj Q Jockey Harry Louman, who has been inactive for some time due to a shoulder injury, sustained at Latonia last summer, plans to return to the saddle during the meeting at Keeneland. Tommy Oliphant, Churchill Downs paddock judge, arrived from his home in Louisville and will remain for the entire period of the Keeneland meeting. The arrival of Larry Bogenschutz, from his home in Cincinnati, where he has been resting since the close of Oaklawn Park, completed the office force in the racing secretarys office. Bogenschutz will serve as one of the placing judges at Keeneland. Jockey Paul Keester came over from his home in Dayton, Ky., for a days visit and stated that he has not definitely made his plans for the immediate future. However, he is considering riding at Keeneland. Mickey Fernandez, former owner and trainer, was an arrival from New Orleans and plans to remain in Kentucky until the start of Aurora. Jockey Alfred Robertson, contract rider for the Milky Way Farm, returned to Louisville, where the stable of Mrs. Ethel V. Mars is quartered following a visit of two days in Lexington. Apprentice D. Castile, will do all of the riding for the Ed. Haughton stable at Keeneland The youngster is regarded as one of the best prospects he has ever come across by the Texas turfman. Charles A. Kenney, manager of the breeding department at Coldstream Stud, announced that the first foals by the young sire Coldstream arrived at the farm today. One is a chestnut son of Penncote, and the other is a chestnut daughter of Adolph. Jack Weaver brought W. E. Smiths Miss Sarah, Kitty Baker, Buffalo Bill, and Lady Ariel to Keeneland Park from Churchill Downs.
