JAMES RESUMES RIDING SAN MATEO, Calif., April 13. Basil James, having served his lengthy suspension imposed during the Santa Anita meeting, accepted his first mount in some time when he rode Hassan for E. H. "Beezley in the opening race Tuesday. Incidentally, it was the first time in a couple of years that a Beezley horse on which Allan Gray could make the weight, that a Beezley horse has gone postward without Gray aboard. Gray and Beezley came to the parting of the ways over the week-end. Beezley held no papers on Gray. i
