TELEPATHY, never far from the pace, came fast to save ground on the stretch turn anil, getting fJ the front after straightening for home, won easily. IDLE LAD was forced to work his way up gradually after having been caught in close quarters early, but found racing room on the inside in the stretch to finish well. FIGHT ON was in close quarters in the early running, but remained close to the pace and raced well.-BORDER RUFFIAN raced in four light bandages and showed good early speed. ALLEGREZZA and MUCH TROUBLE quit in the stretch. VIRGINIA MISS was fractious at the post and, off slowly, was never dangerous. RACK UP had early speed. RAG HILL was through after going a half mile. NEDROB lacked early speed, but came fast on the inside after going half the distance, raced to the front near the finish and won under urging. WOODSAW was close to the pace from the start and raced strongly to the finish. RAINBEARER came fast on the outside after entering the stretch and, though inclined to bear in, finished well, but seemed a trifle Sore after pulling up. FLOSSMOOR was in rather tight quarters between GREY NURSE and MONTECITO soon after the start, but raced well. GOLDIE J. was eased back a trifle when in close quarters on the stretch turn. TONOPAH QUEEN met with some interference from KAYEL at the start and could not reach the leaders. KAYEL was fractious at the post and, leaping into the air at the start, was off poorly. BROWNEYED PAT was used up setting the pace and tired in the stretch. BALKOS MAID was used up trying to catch BROWNEYED PAT and tired. SEA CLIFF, racing on the inside, was taken back repeatedly when in rathe tight quarters, then came to the outside in the stretch when too late and. although gaining rapidly, could not get up. REAL CLEAR lacked early speed and never threatened the winner, although closing some ground. GAMELON broke wide at the start, but soon raced to a contending position and performed fairly well. DON GRAFTON never seriously threatened the leaders. CRETE was badly outrun all the, way and displayed little speed at any stage. The others were never dangerous.
