CHAPS REPORTED COUGHING HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 21. With Chaps of the Alvin Untermyer stable an uncertain starter in the Chesapeake Stakes Saturday, jockey Harry Richards, who was scheduled to ride the colt, has been offered the mount on Mrs. Parker Comings Thanksgiving. Chaps is reported to be coughing, along with Bull Whip, a member of the Brandywlne Stable.
