ADDITIONS TO PERSHALL BAND j LEXINGTON, Ky., April 21. Two more horses were added to the string that former jockey Tommy Root is training for C. W. Pershall, East St. Louis sportsman. The new additions to the stable are the three-year-old filly Miss Lampley and the two-year-old gelding Peggys Sun. The pair formerly raced in the colors of Sam Pershall.
