FORCEFUL WITCH, away fast, was in close quarters the . greater part of the trip and held on well under good urging. PEGGYS SUN, slow to begin and in close quarters early, closed with a rush. MISS KENTEX raced wide. BECOMING tired. BUSY MAN showed little. BUSTLE, away fast and forced to lose ground when improving her position swung extremely wide entering the stretch, forged to the front nearing the final eighth, and won drawing away. CHINESE RED, outrun early, worked his way forward on the outside, was sent through the field entering the stretch, and weakened after offering a bid approaching the last eighth. BAG O WIND, weakly ridden and permitted to drop out of early contention, was sent to the extreme outside at the stretch turn and raced wide thereafter. DOMIWORTH was pinched back at the far turn and showed little thereafer. IMPERIAL JONES was done after a half mile. LADY ARIEL, used up in the pace, stopped badly after a half mile. MATURE, in close quarters early, was taken to the outside nearing the far turn, came through the field to wear down RIPPLEALONG, bore in badly during the last stages and just lasted. GOOD SOLDIER, probably best and reserved for a half mile, moved up fast in the stretch and was impeded by the winner during the last stages. ASSIST, knocked back soon after the start, came around his field when improving his position and finished strongest of all. JUST IMPERIAL, a strong factor from the start, lacked racing room the greater part of the journey, but made up ground when clear. GOLDEN ARIEL came from far back. RIPPLEALONG, used up reaching the lead, quit badly after going five-eighths. BEAUTY SLEEP was through after going a half mile. JUDGE LEER stumbled in the first few strides, moved up fast after recovering, was put to strong urging in the stretch, but was no match for the winner! CHANTING came from far back and on the outside. GAY JAY closed with a rush. COL. GREEN-OCK sprinted into a clear lead early and tired after going a half mihj. GENESIS made up ground in the drive. DROMBO, steadied along for three-eighths, was taken to the extreme outside entering the stretch and dropped back thereafter. FRITZ HALLAM was through after going threereighths. ZEVANAID quit. MISS SAXON, reserved when outrun, drove into the lead shortly after reaching the stretch, but was unable to withstand the winner though holding on well. ROUGH DIAMOND, outrun early, improved his position in the drive. CORNER BOY held on well. FLIP FLAP, used up in the pace-making, gave way after going seven-eighths.
