1 JAMAICA TURF NOTES 3 W. S. Kilmer took third call on the services of jockey Wayne Wright for the season. Jockey J. Pollard arrived from California and reported to trainer Tom Smith, of the C. S. Howard stable. Stake and condition books for the Belmont Park meeting were distributed by Francis Dunne to horsemen Wednesday. Matt Brady will return here next Wednesday from Pimlico. He will saddle several stake starters for W. J. Ziegler at that point. Jockey N. Wall will commute between Belmont Park and Baltimore on days when his services will be needed. Jockey Barba resumed riding Wednesday following a brief illness. Jack Healey shipped Tatterdemalion to Havre de Grace for the Philadelphia Handicap. The horse will be returned to Belmont Park after the running of the race. Seed grabbed himself in Tuesdays race and will be on the shelf for some time. Andy Blakely arrived from Havre de Grace with three horses which he will race here. Gracious Gift and two two-year-olds make up his stable. Bourbon King was galloped over the Jamaica course Wednesday morning for a limbering-up exercise. Rollin Home, owned by M. L. Emerich, pulled up lame following a five furlongs breeze over the training track at Belmont Park Wednesday morning. The sprinter will be on the shelf for some time.
