I AURORA TURF NOTES and 4 Noble Tiller notified officials of the Fox Valley Jockey Club that he has made preparations for the shipment of his horses to Aurora, which is headed by the consistent sprinter, Zekiel. William Davenport and Charles Eddy, members of the front office crew, are handling the arrangements for tickets and other details at Aurora. Roll call for the mutuel department is scheduled for Thursday afternoon at 1 oclock, at which time Alfie Irwin will go over the applications for clerks. The new public address booth and "tote" observers quarters are nearing completion at the Fox Valley Jockey Clubs track. Jim Ryan, electrician in charge of the appliances at Aurora, has everything in readiness for the opening of the twenty-eight-day meeting on next Monday. Joe Barr, an attache of the mutuel staff of the Fox Valley Jockey Club, has been here for several days working in connection with Paul Levy, who has been installing the "tote" here. Thomas V. Craven, paddock and patrol judge, was an arrival from New Orleans and will assist with the preliminary details prior to the opening of the Illinois season. Jack Klucina is a new addition to the office force of the racing secretary at Aurora. Klucina, a former owner and trainer, iswell qualified for his duties about the office. Applications for licenses are being received by Jack Klucina for the Illinois Racing Commission.
