In that test, which was the Southern Ma.land Handicap at Bowie, he was beaten only a nose by Challephen and on this showing and his excellent past record, his impost of 126 pounds seems justified. Shandon Farms Burning Star is making his first start since the Widener at Hialeah Park. In that outing he disappointed when he appeared to dislike the going but McLennan kept in mind his previous performances and satisfactory morning trials.
