1 KEENELAND TURF NOTES t s and Howard Wells will have eighteen head at Louisville for the Churchill Downs meeting. The first division of the stable will get away Thursday and the remainder will leave here Saturday. Keene Daingerfield, Jr., will remain here until Monday before shipping his charges to River Downs. Pete Scheffel will be in charge of the division of the Dixiana stable, Clyde Van Dusen will send to River Downs and Harry Van Ry will look after the horses that will be vanned to Churchill Downs. Trainer Clyde Van Dusen will remain at the farm, motoring to and from the two tracks to saddle his starters. Developing a fever after his race last week, the two-year-old Bilboquet in the Tall Trees Stable is reported by trainer Lee ODonnell as running a much higher temperature and the son of Pompeys condition was said to be serious Monday. Frank Kearns will ship ten horses to Churchill Downs to carry Warren Wrights Calumet Farm colors. Headed by Bull Lea, the division will leave here Friday morning. Jockey Irving Anderson and trainer Kearns will get away Friday afternoon. John Pons purchased the plater Paul T. from C. N. Finch and he was shipped to Boston in the car that transported the A. C. Ernst and Mrs. Jack Skirvin charges. Finch sold Lady Dedlock to Mrs. Bessie Franzheim and she will be retired for breeding purposes. Terms of both transactions were private. Corner Boy and Lucky Star were added to starter William Hamiltons schooling list. I Robert Ramsey shipped Black Mistress and Dusky Maid to Churchill Downs to rejoin the main division of their stable which Kirby Ramsey has at the Louisville track. John T. Ward has arranged to ship the Everglades horses to Belmont Park Friday. On Sunday T. J. "Happy" Hastings will ship the E. R. Bradley horses. It will require two cars to transfer them to Belmont Park. John Goode is vanning the J. W. Parrish colorbearers to Churchill Downs Sunday morning. Dellor, which has been returned to training, will be under colors during the latter part of the Louisville season. O. A. Bianchi is sending his four horses to River Down Friday and at the same time the first division of the Tom B. Young stable is expected to get away for that Cincinnati course. A. R. Born, Chicago sportsman who has a stable of horses at the Fair Grounds here in charge of A. "Sarge" Swenke, was an arrival from his home Tuesday and intends remaining for the running of the Blue Grass Stakes Thursday. The Born horsesi consisting of Silver Sarah, Peter F., The Tribesman, Gay Lord, Florence B. F., Redress, Glad Wings and Carbon Copy, will be shipped to Aurora next Friday. Silver Sarah, the star of the stable, is nominated for the Illinois Derby, feature number to be offered by the Fox Valley Jockey Club.
