j FAVORED PASCH WINS 129TH TWO THOUSAND GUINEAS mi, Special Cablegram. NEWMARKET, England, April 27 H. E. Morriss Pasch, the favorite, today won the 129th running of the Two Thousand Guineas, first of the seasons five classic races on the-flat. James V. Ranks Scottish Union was second, and the Aga Khans Mirza II. third. Eighteen ran in the one mile event. Pasch paid 5 to 2, Scottish Union was 9 to 1, and Mirza II. was 7 to 1. The race was won by two lengths. Scottish Union was second by a length and a half. King George was a spectator. The race, for three-year-olds was worth 6,200 to the winner. It is regarded as a pointer to the Derby, to be run June 1, although the Derby is half a mile longer than the Guineas. Portmarnock, entry of Sir Humphrey de Trafford, the second favorite, was fourth, and the only American entry, Joseph E. Wideners Unbreakable, a 20 to 1 shot, was fifth.
