MODERN AGE moved into command shortly after the start, opened up a safe lead, was rated along steadily and won with speed in reserve. DICTY STEP reared at the start, recovered quickly, moved up fast on the outside, bore out rounding the stretch turn and finished well when straightened. SWISS TRYST was slow to begin, was outrun early and closed ground through the stretch. PEON was under pressure in the stretch and held on well. WAR TRADE was outrun to the stretch turn. VOLO SNOW, a forward factor from the start, moved into command nearing the stretch turn while on the outside and drew away under urging -at the end; THAT ONE responded when placed under pressure and finished with, determination. JACK PATCHES lacked early speed, improved his position on the inside and finished with a rush. VIAJERO showed early speed and had -no mishaps. SING LOW raced well throughout. DACOTAH finished well. RICCADONNA had no excuses. BUDDIE TREACY failed to improve his position. NYMPH could not keep up. JAMBOL was outrun. CREDENCE had no mishaps. ROCK HIGH quit badly. Won driving; second and third the same. WATCH OVER broke in motion and sprinted into command, displayed speed under pressure, but was trying to bear out in the stretch and then held on well. NITRO made up ground under pressure and then finished .fastest on the outside. OFF GUARD showed speed, moved up on the. inside in the stretch, but faltered. GOLDEN VOYAGE moved up fast "under weak handling and was bothered when SAXONIAN swerved. SHADOWS PASS broke slowly from the outside, moved up with a rush and was bumped rounding the stretch turn. JINX BUSTER was in close quarters after the break. SAXONIAN moved up fast and then ducked to the outside inside the final eighth post. RED WAR was crowded back after the break. Won driving; second and third the same. - BLACK BUN outbroke his field and drew into command, raced TIME PASSES into defeat and then outlasted DAY OFF in the final drive. The latter improved his position steadily, responded in the stretch and finished with determination. TIBERIUS moved up gamely nearing the stretch turn, made a determined bid, but faltered nearing the end. PART TIME was crowded back rounding the stretch turn and then came again at the end. BLACK vDEMON began slowly, but closed some ground. TIME PASSES moved up with a rush after the start and then tired. IRISH ECHO raced well throughout. TADPOLE had no mishaps. VAMOOSE, from a slow beginning, improved his position on the outside, saved ground entering the stretch, but was steered between the leaders for the final eighth. GINO REX was well up from the start and had no mishaps in the running. PONTIUS was outrun the first part and closed with a belated rush. GULF BREEZE had no excuses in "the-running.
