THIRD GAME IN NEW YORK NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. 7. The third game of the Woild Series will be played tomorrow in the Yankee Stadium, with Clay Bryant pitching for the Cubs and Monte Pearson or Spud Chandler for the Yankees. With two games in the bag, the Yanks are expected to make it four straight and their followers will be more or less disappointed if they fail to do so. Even the experts hold out little hope for the Cubs, as the Yankees will be on their own stamping grounds, where they lost only one out of every four played last summer. Blase old New York is not at all excited and it is a question if it will be a sellout for Saturdays game. With three big football games involving Princeton and Dartmouth, Army and Columbia, and Yale and Pennsylvania, it is not a certainty that the big Yankee Stadium will be filled.
