LOTTAFUN, steadied back of thepace, responded gamely when tailed upon, gained command and, despite holding on stubbornly, just failed to last. . MISS DE MIE, away slowly and outpaced until nearing the far turn, moved up steadily on the inside and closed with good energy. TJEETER TOTTER raced prominently placed throughout. HIGH IMAGE was prominent for the first half itiile, then faltered. HARP WEAVER was under steadying restraint while following in nearest pursuit of LILTING, disposed of the latter when called upon, opened up . a good lead and was never threatened, winning with speed to spare. LILTING, prominent all the way, held on determinedly, but was unable to go along with the winner when challenged. INVEIGLER, unable to reach the leaders early although never far from the pace, came stoutly in the stretch run. GUILD moved up with a rush on the outside rounding from the back stretch, but was unable to close any appreciable amount of ground through the stretch. LEGGETT faltered under punishment in the last eighth. VITAL LADY trailed until nearing the eighth post and was running over her field when too late. THIRD RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. GRISETTE had speed from the beginning, alternated in setting the pace with MAJOR B. and outlasted the latter at the close. MAJOR B. raced to the front in the opening sixteenth, saved ground throughout, but was unable to go with the winner under punishment. PRUNAY, quickest to begin, dropped back steadily, but worked her way up gradually in the last five-sixteenths. REGAL LINK, away slowly, moved up steadily in the first three-sixteenths, but was. weakly ridden through the stretch. ESPRIT was unable to keep up. QUESTIONABLE lacked speed and trailed throughout. MIXWELL had speed from the start, disputed the early command with WALTER MORTON, shook off the latter and, withstanding determined opposition from WILLOW BUD the entire last three-eighths, outlasted the latter at the end. WILLOW BUD, on the outside while in close pursuit of the pace, fought it out stubbornly and was not quite good enough. WALTER MORTON displayed good speed, made a determined bid to go along with the leaders, dropped back slightly rounding from the back stretch and held on well to the end after saving all possible ground. NOTICE ME was going willingly at the end. BLODDOCK moved up threateningly midway of the turn, but was unable to make up any ground thereafter. WOOF was unable to get to the front when caught in close quarters nearing the far turn, then had to be taken back and was unable to recover. Scratched 67069sVote Boy, 112. FIFTH RACE 1 MILE. GALADORE, in close pursuit of the pace, continued with good courage to the end, but was unable to endanger the winner at any stage of the journey. GHOST QUEEN, in close quarters on the first turn, recovered gamely and raced well placed throughout. PLAY DIS, outrun and under punishment throughout, made up some ground through the last sixteenth. PEACEFUL raced to the front in the run to the First turn, withstood repeated bids from FUNDERBURG and, while holding the latter safe, was unable to cope with the closing bid of the winner. JOY FLAG trailed until the closing three-eighths, then made up much ground during the last quarter mile. FUNDERBURG, forwardly placed from the start, tired during the last three-sixteenths. OFFENDER raced well placed for the first five-eighths. CANDAR, unruly at the post, was started outside the stalls and was outrun throughout. Scratched 67067JGolden Fate, 110. BELLEEK, under steadying restraint while following along in pursuit of the pace, moved up steadily when called upon, disposed of BRED IN BLUE, drawing out steadily in the last eighth. BRED IN BLUE followed in closest attendance of MISS McKAY for almost the first three-quarters, took command when under stout hold and, despite holding gamely, was unable to cope with the closing challenge of the winner. TELLINGYOU, away fast, dropped back steadily, began bettering his position down the back stretch, hold on willingly, but was no match for the first two. The latter, restrained off the pace, moved up stoutly when called upon and fought it out courageously to the close. A claim of foul against the winner was hot allowed. PETE SAND fought it out gamely through the stretch after being reserved for the first three-quarters. CRAP SHOOTER moved up gamely and disposed of LANDSCAPE for the lead, only to flatten out badly through the last sixteenth. LANDSCAPE moved up to supplant ASSIST from the lead, quitting badly through the closing sixteenths. SINGERS FOLLY, away slowly, raced far back throughout.
