GOPHER-BAMA TILT NOT LIKELY Maj. John L. Griffith, Big Ten commissioner, has declared that he didnt believe the proposed "charity" football game between the Gophers and the University of Alabama would be played as suggested by Governor Graves of Alabama, the money to be used for Red Cross relief work in the northeastern states, likely to take place. Big Ten rules prohibit post season and charity games.
