SALES CONSIGNMENTS ARRIVE Entire Lot of Horses to Be Sold at Lexington Expected on Hand by Sunday Morning. LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 7. First arrivals for the Fasig-Tipton Companys auction of thoroughbred horses in the Lexington sales paddock Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, next, are the following consignments: Nine mares from W. H. Laboyteaux Hop Creek Farms, Holmdel, N. J.; five mares from Mrs. Dodge Sloanes Brookmeade Farm, Upper-ville, Va.; ten mares from Mrs. Emil Dene-marks farm near Chicago; four mares, two yearlings and two weanlings from Edward Friendlys Woodbourne Farm, Warrenton, Va. ; two mares and four yearlings from J. G. Elders farms, Chickamauga, Ga.; twelve yearlings from Jerome B. Respess Highland Stock Farm, Erlanger, Ky. By Sunday morning virtually all of the approximately 200 lots to be sold through the three sessions on Monday will be in the stables at the paddock and a big showing is intended for Sunday morning and afternoon. The morning sales will begin at 9:30 oclock and the night sales will begin at 7:30 oclock. The Monday afternoon sale will begin at 1 oclock. The catalog of 518 lots, with a supplementary catalog of ten lots, will be completed in seven sessions, the last of which will be Wednesday night. Morning sessions will be devoted to breeding stock. Yearlings will be sold Monday afternoon and at the three night sessions. Horses in training will be sold Wednesday night. The Oddesa Stable, which is being dispersed on account of the illness of the owner, James B. Jones of Detroit, constitutes the largest consignment of horses in training, there being sixteen head. They arrived here Thursday and are in quarters at the Fair Grounds, where they can be seen until Wednesday morning, when they will be transferred to the sales paddock. SHIPS TO RIVER DOWNS LATONIA, Ky., Oct. 7. Unable to secure stalls for Bernard F., Hargram, Enchilada and Sweep Wine at Keencland, Al Miller is sending the four head to River Downs, where they will augment the stable Carter Bvcrette has there for I. J. Collins.
