NEIGHBOR REGAINS HIS FORM Shows Considerable Improvement to Win Latonias Main Event. Rushaway Finishes Third Behind Spencer Racer and Bustle Track Fast for Days Sport. LATONIA, Ky., Oct. 7. Showing impiove-ment over his previous excellent winning effort, Jesse Spencers Neighbor was victorious in the Arcade Purse, sixth and best race on a program offered under sunny skies and over a fast track at Latonia this afternoon. Racing in closest pursuit of the pacemaking Miss Bonnie during the run to the final three furlongs, the winner took command scon afterward to -reach the finish of one mile and seventy yards slightly more than a length before Mrs. Edward Haughtons Bustle, and thereby robbed that Texas-owned establishment of an opportunity of furnishing three winners during the afternoon. A. G. Tarns Rushaway earned third honors, a length back of Bustle and two lengths before Al au Feu, which got up to head Three Eangs for fourth. Miss Bonnie was the trailer, a half length back of Three Bangs. WILLIAMS PILOT. Running the distance in 1:42, Neighbor was guided by Sammy Williams and was the second choice to the strongly-supported Bustle. Miss Bonnie led the field from the gate with the winner in second place and they raced as a team to the upper turn, where Williams drove Neighbor to the front. Miss Bonnie, however, was not ready to give up and she held on to the stretch where Rush-away came with a determined charge. Bustle was in closest pursuit, while Miss Bonnie and Neighbor battled for command, and Charlton sent Bustle onward during the final furlong, but she was unable to catch Neighbor, which was kept under strong pressure to the last stages. Bustle wore Rushaway down to be drawing away from him at the end. Al au Feu trailed to the final eighth, where he moved forward on the outside to catch the tiring Three Bangs and Miss Bonnie.
