1 LAUREL PARK TURF NOTES 4 Apprentice P. Brislin, connected with the stable of George Marshall, arrived from Detroit to augment the local riding colony. H. W. Jackson placed the good two-year-old Ariel Toy back in training. The juvenile suffered injuries during the meeting at Havre de Grace. A syndicate of Puerto Ricans bought the platers Miss Toucan from V. L. Adams and Indiana from S. Crowther. Terms were not made public. B. B. Williams brought a division of the T. P. Morgan horses here from New York. Jockey A. "Robertson, contract rider for the Milky Way Farm Stable, has been engaged to ride Idle Miss in the Continental Handicap at Jamaica on Saturday. Jockey Harry Richards arriv d from New York and reported to trainer P. M. Burch. The Mrs. F. A. Carreaud stable will be transferred to Narragansett Park at the conclusion of the Maryland State Fair meeting at Laurel. Time Alone, winner of the Eastern Shore Handicap at Havre de Grace, will fill an engagement in the rich New England Futurity. Jockey G. Seabo stated that he will ride as a free lance for the rest of the Laurel meeting. Jockey F. Scheih has given first call on his services to Miss Mary Hirsch, who is training a public stable. Former jockey Joe Serio has applied for a trainers license with the Maryland Racing Commission and will train a division of the E. K. Bryson stable.
