t JAMAICA TURF NOTES 4 : $ John Whalen arrived from California. He trained several winners during the summer on the Pacific Coast. Jockey F. Horn arrived here and applied for a license. Apprentice F. Whalen was given his choice by starter George Cassidy of paying a 5 fine or three days on the ground. The boy chose the three days. Masked General, owned by the Brandy-wine Stable, was scratched from the Continental Handicap. The four-year-old bowed a tendon in his stall Friday evening.
