I FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES f s George Foster, secretary of the Illinois State Racing Commission, who has been visiting here during the past few days, departed for Chicago. With the running of the last race here Saturday, starter John Morrissey will leave for New Orleans where he will dispatch the fields during the Fair Grounds meeting. Judge Frederick Crafton, another of the official family, will leave with the close of the meeting for the Crescent City where he will officiate at the Fair Grounds track. Don Fair, who handled the public address system during the current meeting, leaves for his home in Omaha, Neb., and will vacation until the New Orleans meeting opens where he will perform in a like capacity. Robert Yellowtail, Jr., a member of the Crow Indian tribe and who has been racing a small two-horse stable during the Fair-mount Park meeting, will take Home Work and Haines Maid to Jexington for a campaign during the fall meeting at Keeneland. Dr. E. E. Watson, the Mt. Vernon, Ohio, veterinary came up from his home for the closing days sport here and while here will apply the firing irons to a few racers. With the release of Jim Chesney from an East St. Louis hospital where he has been confined since he broke an ankle, the Chesney stable of eight will leave here Sunday for River Downs to campaign at Cincinnati, which opens its gates October 12. Jacob Klein purchased the horse Photography from J. Robilio at private terms. Turf Sting, which is the property of J. Robilio, will have the firing irons applied prior to being shipped to Robilios Memphis, Tenn., farm where the racer will be turned out for the winter. J. D. English purchased the plater, Beautiful Bud, from J. Sauter and saddled the daughter of Brown Bud for the first race iFriday. The terms of the transaction were private.
