COMPUTER improved her position under weak handling, forged to the front when inside the final eighth, but was unable to withstand the winner. RITZ BROTHERS, outrun for three-quarters, was pinched back when improving his position on the inside in the stretch and came fast when steered to. the outside. HARPER lacked room early and improved his position in the drive. BREVARD had no mishaps. SIVA, used up in reaching the lead, tired rapidly during the final eighth. The latter, well up from the start and in close quarters the greater part of the trip, finished strongly. STAR BOARDER lacked room early, was steered to the outside for the drive anf tloscd resolutely. SUSIEBELL, lucky to find room when improving her position, tired near the end. BROADUS showed a good effort. SUPERLEE, rhict cause of the post delay, was shuffled back at the start and finished fast on the outside. DECATUR, hustled along from the start, took command approaching the final half mile, was unable to, draw clear and tired after five-eighths. STAR LINA had early speed. SCOTCH TRAP showed little. DOUBLE R., a factor from the start and reserved for a mile and a half, moved into command when ready, was permitted to establish a big load rapidly, tired in the last stages and could not hold the winner: GLASBY alternated with LITTLE NYMPH at pacemaking, gave way when DOUBLE R. challenged, came again on the inside in the drive, but tired after reaching the final sixteenth. JEFFERSON-TOWN, outrun early, moved up after a half mile and held on well. MALICIOUS made up ground after a mile and a half. RHIMEDA showed little. SON RICHARD was outrun.
