1 LAT0NIA TURF NOTES " b ; " Malcolm Chapman, an attache of the jockey rooms on many of the leading tracks, was removed to the Cincinnati General Hospital for an examination. Chapman came from Detroit and his next assignment is River Downs. Apprentice Robert Musser, who suffered slight injuries when thrown from Cee Me, Tuesday, resumed riding Thursday. Dan Howell reports the death of Wasp-ncst. The horse was the property of the Peacock Stable and died from lung fever. , He was quartered at River Downs. F. Stafford fired the plater Servant Pride and he will be turned out for the winter. I Clyde Van Dusen loaded six horses, the property of his wife and four of the dozen he has here for Dixiana and they left for Lexington. Van Dusen accompanied the ten headed to the Blue Grass and Pete Scheffel, his assistant, will remain here with the other Dixiana charges until the close of the meeting. Mrs. C. C. Norman, who Thursday purchased Gem City Girl from John M. Shane, has arranged to transfer Joe Desopos Tunica and the other horses he has here to Keeneland on Saturday. Henry Torriente vanned Joji T. and six others to River Downs. Jockey C. Mojena under contract to Tor- riente will be with the stable at River Downs. W. N. Rust is sending Buff Ryan to Keeneland- and Jack Beyond to River Downs. Rust plans on commuting between the two tracks during the Keeneland season. Larry Bogenschultz, who will serve as a placing judge at Keeneland, plans on leaving for Lexington Sunday. Live Oak Stables Gopeg has been turned ! over to Tom Deahl to train. The horse is quartered at River Downs. William H. Shelley departs for Narra-I gansett Park Sunday where he will serve as racing secretary until the opening of the Churchill Downs meeting. Mose Goldblatt is shipping Dnieper and Black Buddy to Churchill Downs Sunday. Five other horses, the property of Goldblatt, are now quartered at the Louisville track. Goldblatt intends sending several others from Louisville to Keeneland for engagements. Margo G., Flying Jay and Boy Valet were late entries made to the Latonia Cup.
