! KEENELAND TURF NOTES j$ e Jewell Reeds Maple Ricca has been rest-ling here for nearly three weeks. The horse was shipped here by Reed from Narragansett. The W. E. Coover and W. E. Smith stables were arrivals Thursday from Latonia. Each owner has three horses. The Valley Grey Farm horses, in charge of Frank Farro, arrived from Detroit. In the shipment were Miss Bulldog, Sun Charles, Total Eclipse and Germanicus. The latter is a two-year-old colt by St. Germans, which has never been to the races. Seven horses in charge of trainer H. H. Battle were scheduled to reach here Friday morning, coming from Latonia. J. C. Metz, who developed the good Governor Chandler, canceled the stalls he had reserved for his useful stable. Cliff Porter has been here two weeks resting the horses he has for C. H. Cleary, which were shipped from Hawthorne. In the Cleary establishment are Royal Lill, Fairso, Flying Lill, Elmer H. and Calexico. The latter trio are nominees for the Breeders Futurity, down for decision the last day of the meeting. Irvin Acey is conditioning six head for P. T. Chinn, who will have four more to come here from Latonia Friday. On arrival of the Latonia division the six on the grounds will be turned over to trainer James Everman, who is bringing the horses here from Latonia. Leon Carter was an arrival from Latonia with Black Gift and Black Marble. Arthur Hill has been resting his public stable here since the close of the spring meeting at Fairmount Park. Hill is conditioning Wild Day, which races in his own name; Bubblesworth, for Charles R. Jordan, and Brilliant One, for J. D. Weil. Madison, Olney, Glen Brush and Cynthia Ann are the four horses Ray Kindred shipped here from Belmont Park which race for R. W. Mcllvains Walmac Farm stable. Kindred is expecting one two-year-old and a three-year-old from the farm.
