Start good and slow for all but May Roam. .Won handily ; second ind third driving. WARRIOR DON, in close quarters early, moved up steadily when clear, responded to pressure, took command in the stretch, then drew clear in the final stages. BROAD ROYAL was on the outside most of the way, challenged boldly in the stretch, but was not good enough to win, though easily best of the others. TELLWICK moved to a prominent position early, came around on the outside while bettering her position and closed resolutely, but was no threat. ONEILL, slow to settle in stride, gained rapidly in tht stretch and finished resolutely. POMPOUS GENIE, prominent for seven-eighths, t;ave way badly under punishment. RODNEY PAN finished strongly. BELLES LAST, cleverly handled, was hustled to the lead early, then was ta"..cn in hand for a half mile, increased her advantage when urged and drew out to win decisively. TEN AFTER, never far back, responded to strong riding and was up for second place in the final strides. SPORTING GREEN, in close quarters early, improved her position when clear, closed resolutely and would have been second in a few more strides. EDGAR BOY, prominent most of the way, tired in the final stages. SAN RAMON, slow to get going and widely outrun for a great part of the journey, closed with good determination. CURIOUS was never dangerous. MIKES LUCK gave way badly after a half mile. VALE OF TEARS could not keep up. LOOK OUT BELOW quit. LAZI CANTER failed to reach contention. SIR MAXIM, under mild reserve early, gained gradually when urged, came to the inside in the stretch, rallied to strong riding, took command and was doing his best to outfinish BEESON. The latter, outrun for a half mile, was forced to race wide while bettering his position, responded to punishment and closed resolutely. GERTIE attained a contending position after a half mile, but failed to respond to pressure in the final stages. ENIMRAC appeared sore going to the post, was widely outrun early, came fast in the stretch and finished fastest. TONEYS GIRL attained a commanding lead early, but tired badly in the stretch. DOUBLE TROUBLE had no excuse. LOVERS CHAT and RENEGE quit. MISS LADYBUG was done early. The others were never dangerous. PASS SHOT broke slowly and was far back throughout in a dull effort. ATTA BUNNY, rushed to the lead, set the pace without need of pressure, offered good contention when challenged, but could not withstand the winner. NISQUALLI, slow to get going and forced to race wide while bettering his position, closed with a good challenge, but was no threat. NAPERTON, away tardily, moved up fast after the opening quarter, but failed to meet the demands when the real racing began. BOSCA finished resolutely from a slow beginning. CANNIBAL began slowly, was taken to the inside, moved up rapidly after a half mile, look command entering the stretch, drew out, but tired near the end and was doing his best to withstand the belated rush of LADY JAQUELINE. The latter, slow to settle in best stride and on the outside throughout, responded gamely when placed to pressure, closed with good determination and was overhauling the winner. CARITRE attained a forward position early and dropped back after three-eighths, but rallied to strong riding, closing resolutely. TWO EDGED finished with a rush from a slow beginning. DISTRIBUTE was never dangerous in a dull performance. EPITOME and KHAYYAM were much used racing each other into defeat.
